10 I have accordingly instructed the C.A. to pay him the salary at the rate of $3600 a year as from the beginning of his present leave of absence, leaving the arrears due to him in respect of the period between Mr Hazeland's promotion and the 16th of April last to be adjusted on his return to the Colony.
